Asbestos Surveys

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 came into force on 13th November 2006. This legislation updated the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations (CAWR) 2002.

An asbestos survey is required on all commercial properties in order to comply with the CAR 2006 regulations. 

The HSE have recently released surveying guidance document HSG 264, which superceded MDHS 100.

Our asbestos surveys are conducted by P402 / S301 trained surveyors with at least 5 years experience in the asbestos industry. All of our surveys are carried out in accordance with HSG 264 and asbestos samples are analysed by our UKAS accredited laboratory.

We are often complimented on our survey reports for being clear and concise, providing all the required information in a sensible order. The reports include an asbestos register and material risk assessment, sample analysis details, colour photographs of all samples, recommendations and advise for all asbestos identified within the building and annotated CAD drawn floor plans.

We have no ties to the asbestos removal industry so you can be assured of accurate and impartial advice.

We offer a cost effective and efficient service. Our prices are inclusive of all sample analysis, we do not charge extra per sample taken. Surveys will be booked in usually within one week (often sooner) and reports can be completed in as little as 48 hours (24 hour reporting service available at additional cost). Reports are made available in both PDF format for ease of distribution and re-printing, and also signed and bound hard copy.

We hold both Professional Indemnity insurance to £1M and Public Liability insurance to £10M.
